Happy to join President Halimah Yacob and PMO staff at the Istana this morning for our hybrid National Day Observance Ceremony. DPM Heng Swee Keat, SM Tharman Shanmugaratnam and many more officers joined us online.
This is the second year that we could not gather together at the Istana due to COVID-19. But it did not dampen the virtual celebrations or make them any less meaningful.
